Early Childhood Caries (ECC) is a major public health concern in the world. There high prevalence of ECC developing countries. The review aimed to synthesise published literature on global and its associated factors. Researches conducted Asian, European, American African countries were included. included observational cross-sectional, case-control, cohort studies, clinical trials. varies across continents. Several studies showed inequitable distribution within regions country. result this provides risk Despite variation ECC, it remains universal burden. Studies have demonstrated that even developed countries, represents significant burden preschool children. S. mutans , oral hygiene habits, breastfeeding bottle feeding along with factors such as parental education are for ECC. been limited Nepal.
